About Us
We are working steady on having a place where you can come, be cared for, and be HEARD. We will be offering direct primary care and pain management. We will also offer SUD treatment (Buprenorphine products only) for those who have this need.
A couple of things to bear in mind:
This is a dual speciality clinic. While we absolutely want to help you have more life in the middle of your pain, we use this goal for you to be more engaged in primary and preventative medicine. There will be expectations for all of your medical problems being optimally managed, not just your pain.
Dr. Michael Thorarinson
Family Nurse Pracitioner, Board Certified
Dr Mike is a doctorate prepared nurse practitioner with over 30 years of clinical experience, including 13 years post graduate experience in primary care, pain management and substance use disorder treatment. A patient advocate for the disenfranchised and the disregarded, he has an special passion for what he terms "the throw away patient". If you feel like you are not seen or heard, and you live in our expanded coverage area, he looks forward to trying to show you a better way where you and he work together on mutually agreed upon goals. He is the author of two books, both on Amazon (search by his last name). "You Are More... Advocating your care in a system that doesn't." and "No One is coming... YOU ARE ENOUGH!!" (a how to manual for brand new advance care providers).
He also has a passion for training young nurse practitioners and dedicates a considerable amount of time to this cause.

We provide Comprehensive Patient Care
Primary Care
Our primary care services focus on personalized attention, preventive care, and chronic disease management. We emphasize building long-term relationships with our patients to promote overall health and well-being in a comfortable and direct care setting.
We strive to work hand in hand with you so that you have plentiful, functional, fulfilling birthdays - caring for patients 21+ years old.
Pain Management
Our pain management services include evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs. We focus on "inserting life into the middle of pain" so that you function and be present in all of the critical aspects of your life.
Substance Use Disorder Management (opioid only)
We primarily offer medication assisted treatment in the form of Suboxone or Subutex to patients whom we determine have two distinct problems that co-exist: Chronic pain and substance use disorder. This is not a "Suboxone clinic" rather it is a means to keep patients under good primary care rather even while helping patients assert control in their own lives.
